Despite having obtained independent referrals for our landscaping contractor, we experienced several issues of a significant magnitude with the works undertaken. Some of these issues included the works being undertaken in a manner that voided our new home's termite treatments, pergola support beams not having been installed in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, unsightly tile cuts, layout and installation and inappropriately located expansion joints.
Adam prepared a detailed inspection report containing photographic evidence of the issues he identified and references to the building code to support the conclusions and observations he made from his inspection.
Given the extent of the issues he identified and the high cost of rectification, our contractor engaged a lawyer and building inspector to refute the report. After receiving a formal response to the items in Adam’s report from our contractor’s lawyer and inspector, Adam prepared an additional report rebutting their claims in a manner that was fit to be submitted as evidence in court, which explained why the contractor was at fault.
The successful resolution we obtained could not have been achieved without Adam's capability, professionalism and objectivity through what proved to be a highly stressful period. We have recommended Adam to several friends who have also been very pleased with his service.
