Mount Barker Building Inspections
How lucky are we as a city to have the beautiful hills? The lush surroundings, the picturesque Sunday drives, the clear air; all of these make Mount Barker such an incredible place to call home.
Perhaps one of our most famous movie icons put it best when he said, ‘How’s the serenity?’ Not to offend Dale Kerrigan, but I think Mount Barker actually wins out in the scenery department over little old Bonnie Doon.
Indeed, a home is a man’s castle and the lush environment makes Mount Barker one of the best places to live. However, although lovely, the constant tree cover in this area can create a problem that is best identified through one of our building inspections.
This fungus is no one’s friend. Mould forms in areas that are prone to moisture, meaning houses of Mount Barker make them especially prone to this nasty growth. All it takes is a little bit of dew or rain and the immense tree coverage often means these areas stay damp.
When left untreated, the particles of mould can become airborne; leading to them being inhaled by people or animals inside the house. If this occurs, mould can cause numerous ailments of the skin, eyes and lungs. For anyone with existing respiratory ailments, mould can exacerbate the problem.
Our Mt Barker building inspections don’t just identify the presence of mould; we recognise conditions that are conducive to further growth, which means you can solve the problem before anyone in the household is affected.
