When should I arrange a building inspection Adelaide?
If the property is for sale by negotiation an inspection should be done as soon as possible, traditionally this is done during the two day cool off period . If the property is going to auction then the building inspection should be carried out as soln as possible. Once you have contacted us we can make all the necessary arrangements with the selling agent.
When will I receive my building report?
Your report will be emailed to you the same day of the inspection, if you need the report posted in hard copy or receiving the report is time sensitive due to cool off period etc, just let us know and we can usually accommodate these requests.
What will a Timber pest report include?
It will include were there any timber pests found any evidence of attack, any evidence of previous attack and has there been any previous treatments applied. We will also discuss any conditions conducive to termite attack.
Can I be present at the building inspection?
Yes thats fine in actual fact its our preference if you can be there at least near the end of the inspection to allow us to have a walk through and discuss any defects face to face.
What if i’m having trouble understanding the report?
Our reports are set out very clearly with lots of photos and detail, if you do happen to have trouble understanding anything thats no problem we are only a phone call away and we are there to help.
How long will the building inspection take?
Our building inspection take around two hours. If you are present we usually spend another 20 minutes to walk through with you after the inspection.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is that we require 24 hours notice as minimum otherwise 50% of the amount applies.
How can I pay for my building inspection ?
We accept credit card payments from Visa or Mastercard as well as EFT or Cash.
When do I need to pay for my building inspection ?
We require payment on the day of the inspection once we have received payment or payment receipt then we will email the report , if you can make payment on the day of inspection you will receive a 5% settlement discount.
